Williams Lake Resort can be your destination vacation or you can venture “into town” and visit Salmon. Located at the forks of the Salmon and Lemhi Rivers, Salmon was developed during the mining rush of the 1860’s. Idaho was eventually settled when gold was discovered in the clearwater and Salmon River canyons.
Cattle ranches, agriculture, tourism based on river-running, hunting and fishing keep Salmon alive and well.
Downtown Salmon offers hometown services: groceries, autoparts, restaurants and take-out, hardware and building supplies, bakery and movie theater.
